Jim went home to be with Jesus on Monday, October 24 after a brave battle with cancer. He was born September 8, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Eugene and Lynn (Sanborn) Myers.

Jim was an avid runner and enjoyed running and biking through the neighborhood and forest preserves. He also enjoyed time in the sun on the beaches of St. Augustine, Florida. He loved being a husband, father, and grandfather. His first love was always Jesus and enjoyed serving him through the care center, prison ministry, and marriage ministries at Willow Creek Community Church.

He is survived by his wife Debbie nee Clift, first wife Suzanne, sons Chad Cranston and Brandt (Nicole) Myers, daughter Erin (Ryan) Morgan, grandaughters Zoe Cranston and Hannah Morgan, grandsons Noah Cranston, Braylon Morgan, Landon Myers, and Logan Myers, father Eugene Myers, sister Kim (Frank) Blough, mother in law Betty Clift, Brother In Laws Rick (Jita) Clift and David (Melissa) Clift, sister inlaw Natlie Myers and many loved neices and nephews.

Not sure what to say?

I think of Jim periodically and am reminded of our friendship both at Bowling Green and back home in the Philadelphia, PA area during college breaks in the summer. Jim had a dynamic personality and I remember the last time I spoke with him which, as it turns out, was not long before he passed! I am saddened by that memory! Debbie I wish I had gotten to meet you!

Debbie & family,
I am truly sorry for your loss of Jim and hope that the good memories of him will help carry you through any difficult times. I am glad we reconnected after so many years before his passing on. Jim was a special man and will be greatly missed!
My prayers go out to you and your family!

I first met Jim more than 40 years...he was an energetic and competitive young gentleman back then, and over the years he maintained a healthy, positive attitude to life. Jim was a good guy!
My prayers are with Jim's family.

Debbie and family, Bruce and I are so sorry for your loss. We always enjoyed visiting with Jim whenever he came to CNS, and we will miss him very much. We all considered him a friend, as well as a customer. Please know we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

A true friend of our family for 41 years. We miss Jim and wish the Myers family all of our prayers and best wishes.
Love, Steve and Diane Taylor

Jim was an awesome brother-in-law and will be missed tremendously. My prayers are with the entire Myers and Cranston families.

Debbie, I am so sorry for your loss!! Thoughts and prayers for you and your family!

Debbie, I am so sorry to hear this news. You and your family are in my prayers. I always enjoyed seeing Jim and of course our running connection brought him to my thoughts often. My deepest sympathy, Love Penny

Jim was a great man and a true gentleman; I consider it a privilege to have called him my brother-in-law.
