Dear Mr. Sabin,
I met you only briefly and unfortunately even so I am a Doctor I was not able to help you, when it came to the worst. I am deeply sorry about that and I can only hope, that everything changed for the better for you and that your wife and your son will cope with this loss, because I am sure this would be what you want. I am very sorry I could not say good bye personally.

Jim provided me with guidance and inspiration when I tried to succeed him at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. He was always helpful and provided me with any assistance I requested both personal and professional. I am deeply saddened by your loss. Jim was universally well-liked and respected here. Please accept my condolences

Dearest Karin and David,
We were shocked and saddened to hear of Jim's passing. His caring and kindness to everyone he came in contact with will be missed. Although our shared time together in Australia was a long time ago, we will always cherish those special times together. God bless.
