Not sure what to say?

We still keep Jim's photo on the wall here in the Code Enforcement division of the City of Cleveland Law Department, and people continue to remark about how much we all miss him when they see it. I, his secretary, especially miss him as he made me laugh every day. He made this often stressful job so much easier for everyone. He was a truly special human being. As they say, our loss, heaven's gain.

2017 American Heart Association Day, Law Department, City of Cleveland

As colleagues in the City's Law Department, our paths crossed regularly, as we would share stories of our successes and frustrations as attorneys. I always made sure to drop by Jim's office every couple of weeks to catch up. I will miss him dearly, as he was a good friend, even if only professionally.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts & prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

I knew Jim through the Berea Animal Rescue and worked with him on different occasions. He definitely touched the lives of so many and will never be forgotten. If we all lived as Jim lived, the world would be a brighter place.

The Berea Animal Rescue won't be the same now without Jim's smiling face. He was devoted to the shelter. May his family & friends be comforted by memories of this dear, wonderful man.

My sincere condolences to Jim's family. Having worked with Jim in connection with Berea Animal Rescue, I know him as a caring, compassionate person. He will be greatly missed.

I met Jim through the Berea Animal Rescue and volunteered with him on numerous events over the past years. He was a special person who I am glad to have known. He will be missed by me and all who knew him. May God bless his family with comfort and peace during this time. Jim, I'll miss your hugs!

There were many of our loved ones to greet him with open arms in Heaven. May beautiful memories fill you heart and give you peace. Sorry I can't be with, but are in my heart and prayers always.
Memory Eternal
Love Always,
Cousin Elaine
