Not sure what to say?

Jim was a friend going way back to our school days and times together with sports, and high-school days. We met by chance when we both were stationed in Florida with different services. Jim enthusiasticly told me of his experiences in his hurricane hunting flights as the winds tossed them about in every direction. His good humor was in full view in relaying his service experiences with the Navy hurricane hunter team. Jim was a good man in every respect.

It is hard to imagine a world without Jim Safarik. He was bigger than life, bolder than life and yes louder than life. His adventures, advice and misadventures were legendary. He was a loving family man and a loyal friend. We will miss him greatly Larry and Pam Serwatka

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Will be sadly missed by his golfing buddies. May You RIP Jim.

Wonderful Birthday

May all the wonderful memories of the neighborhood watchman bring peace, healing and smiles as we remember him! Simply a wonderful man. Much love to Barbara, Christopher and all family and friends of Jim. God Bless. Love Jodi and Phil

The Mayor of the neighborhood. Such a great guy, always willing to lend a helping hand and enjoy a glass of red wine with you. He will be missed for all who knew him.

Jim was a good man. He will be missed.
