Nothing like being four years late. I was thinking of Jim and found this. Anyway, in case you read this at this late date, I just wanted to add that without Jim, I never would have entered the public finance arena and I owe it all to him for taking a chance on a kid from the City of LA. Sorry we weren't able to get together a few years ago when I talked with you both. Anyway, my heartfelt condolences. Love and hugs

Judy, I worked for James as his Accounting Liaison for a few years back in the 70s. He was a wonderful guy, and I thought of him tonight when I saw that Itzhack Perlman had just done a studio album with Martha Argerich. I remember how often he talked of loving his playing when he was here in San Francisco.

So I thought I might give him a call as I'd done once before after a few years. Am sad to read this but glad to be able to know how much he enjoyed the later years and time with...
