I didn't know Jim very well but he seemed like a very good person. I had contacted him for some help with a railroad history newsletter I edit and he was very gracious. I looked forward to working with him in the future. I was shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. My sincere condolences to Jim's family and his many friends. Rest in peace Jim.
