My fondest memories of Cousin Jimmy is his kind gentle soul and Jojo. Jojo you ask? Even into adulthood Jimmy called me Jojo! He always called me Jojo and nobody else did. And it made me happy! At the previous family reunion when sweet Aunt Tiby, my twin mother was there, Jimmy walked across the room and with a sweet smile simply said, “Hi Jojo”! Made me smile with joy. My life has always been filled with endless beautiful memories of spending time with the Sanders family! And our...

I have a great memory of him running in the cow pasture with me at granny and grandaddy's in Pearland and that dog Snoopy. I use to sit on the couch with him in Trinity and listen to his stories of the Army.

From days at PHS. Always the smiling gentleman -dated a couple of times. Deserving of all accolades and accomplishments- will meet again my brother in Christ

Jimmy was only with us here at Independence Village for about two years, but he was immediately accepted and welcomed to our 'family'. He was always extremely polite, respectful and eager to do the things required of him. When I would go over to his apartment, ring the doorbell then announce myself, he would open the door with such a pleasant smile. Anything I asked of him, he took care of right away.
