Not sure what to say?

Cecil and myself were friends for many many years
We fished together all the time. He was truly a great person.

Cecil became my barber when I asked Tim the manager at the time of Delchamps who cut his hair? He always made me feel like a million bucks, cut my hair great and always asked "Is that more better". I have been in Kentucky for over 12 years, came back today to have Bill tell me the news. I just had to open this to see my friend one more time. God speed Cecil-the world is a less place and yet a smile still comes to mind when I think of you. Sonny Bono's brother! Peace friend!

Cecil was a good friend whom I will greatly miss. It was great to visit his barber shop because you always heard a good fish story or something about Alabama football. Rest In Peace Cecil!

A truly wonderful person. You will be missed.

Play it loud......

My buddy,....Cecil we had some times didn't we....my gosh where did the time go? I'll always be grateful to you for your sincere friendship shown to me over the years....you were my brother! Now rest my friend...Barber Bill

RIP Roll Tide Roll!

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I haven't seen Cecil in 30+ years but I cut hair in the chair next to him for two years when we worked at Cloverleaf Barber/Style Shop in Tillman's Corner. From what I've read on here it sounds like he never changed a bit. My condolences to his family, I am so sorry to hear this.

My boys, now in their mid twenties, grew up going to Cecil's shop. He treated you like an old friend from your first visit which made my boys feel comfortable from then on. A good sense of humor, respectful and, even when exhausted, ready to chat with you about fishing and football. You are surely missed! Roll Tide, Cecil! Roll Tide!

The family would like to thank everyone for showing love to my uncle. We appreciate all of your kind and loving words, and those who showed up to say goodbye and send him into heaven with so much love.
