Not sure what to say?

This world has lost a great sole. I'm sure Jesus received him with open arms. Save us all a spot at that great fishing hole in heaven. My most heart felt condolences to the family.

Our parents were friends 50 years ago. I was just 5 when my dad passed. I was watching The Keeper and as soon as I heard the name, I popped up. Sorry to hear of your loss. Marie Hardy. Daughter of Sonny and Mary Hardy

Jim was my boss at PC 12 we worked together from not long after North Point station opened until his retirement. Jim was loved and respected by his workers and the community he served. He set an example that no one after him could replace
Nancy all my condolences goes out to you and the family. Keep the faith. RIP Jim you will surely be missed.

Just recently found out about Jim's death. He will always be remembered as "Santa" to my grandchildren. He was a big part of our annual family Christmas parties and the kids loved him. We met at the Dundalk Police Academy years ago. He was sporting his white beard and cheered for my daughter during the physical agility test. He immediately became my friend. He was soft spoken and a rare genuine person. My family will miss him and his family will be in my prayers.

Jim Scannell was a kind, gentle soul, a gentleman in every respect, and a person who always sought to help others. What an incredible legacy he built. There is a void in the world without him. My deepest sympathy to the family.
