Not sure what to say?

A real gentleman!! Very fond memories.

My deepest sympathy to Jim's children. I am so glad I visited him on a recent trip to Peoria. He was one of the first Spalding boys, I met when I came to AOL. And always he was the essence of faith, friendliness, kindness and of a happy disposition. Your care for him and for your Mother was impressive. Know all of you are in my prayers. Sr. Catherine Cleary OSB (Katie)

To the Scherer family,
May the God who gives comfort, do so now, during your time of great loss.
Kind regards,

To all the Scherer family, I am very sorry for your loss

Dear Penny Scherer Family,
Jim was one of the very best men Mike and I have known. He was kind and gentle, and a true Notre Dame man. He was so loving in his family. We admired him greatly.

Our deepest condolences to the Scherer family. Jim was a true gentleman who I respected and enjoyed working for at the Buick Pontiac dealership. May you find comfort in memories of joyful times together and a life well lived. Jim and Bernie Allen

Jim fought a long and tough battle with his health. I send our love and prayers for peace and understanding to the family.

I hope the family can receive comfort in knowing Jim and Penny are together again looking over everyone from heaven.

Hugs.........
