Jim was my neighbor on Willowridge Lane for 14 years. Jim loved to work out in his yard and driveway, and he loved to talk to the neighbors. He was always interested in finding out what was going on, and who was doing what. In the first year after we moved to Willowridge Lane, we had a baby, and from the time that the baby (Peter) got big enough to walk, Jim would play with him, especially liking to play catch with almost any kind of ball. I remember Jim showing us rabbits that would appear in the evenings on the lawns. Jim was a very kindly soul, who was always interested in his own family, his wife and his daughter and his grandchildren. And, he was always interested in all the neighbors. I greatly valued the friendship that Jim extended to all of us. I feel happy that we had so many years to be neighbors, and know that we were lucky to have Jim be the neighbor who lived right across the cul-de-sac.
