My dear Jim, It soon will be 15 months since you have been gone. I still miss you so much and loved you dearly. Your last words to me were "I love you and be yourself". I didn't quite know what you meant by that but I think I do now. You always told me "to be myself" and I don't think you wanted me to change but to move on in life. When I was a teenager and afraid of not being able to pass the driver's test, he gave me confidence. He was a friendly and supportive next-door neighbor who I was fortunate to have from age 3 to 17. There are so many memories here that I will gladly hold onto as I live next door to his old house. Deepest sympathy to Jean, Jimmy, John, and Lana.

You were a wonderful and kind person. I will never forget the first time I met you when you welcomed me into your home and made me feel like family. You were always kind and had a big happy genuine smile. I never saw you mad or angry or sad. That is the way I will always remember you! God Bless!
