Fr Schleicher,
Right now you are exactly where all of us strive to be, at the knee of Jesus. God bless you and keep you in His arms.Thank you helping to keep us on that path as we too make our journey, all of us following just a little behind you. Thank you for those memorable religion classes at St Mary's (Class of 58). My prayers and thoughts to your family and friends and those fortunate parisioners and students who got to experience your special gift. Well done good and...

I remember going to church on certain days and knowing exactly what homily Fr. Schleicher was going to deliver. It won't be the same this year to not hear him tell the joke he always loved to tell at midnight mass on Christmas about the other priests "sleeping in heavenly peace." May you now rest in heavenly peace Fr. Schleicher and enjoy your new life amongst your Father in heaven without the pain you had to endure your final years on this earth! God bless

To the Schleicher and Fox Families,
Our deepest sympathy. We are sorry for your loss. I know that Fr. Jim got a great "welcome home" from Uncle Bill and the Brennan clan above.

My first encounter with Father Schleicher was at St. Mary's. Although he did not teach me Religion he made his presence known, especially on the basketball court. I remember one Senior - Faculty game that had to be stopped for what seemed an eternity to search for his missing contact. I was blessed to have been at St. Francis his entire tenure. You will be missed by everyone who has heard your sermon. You have made us all laugh with your stories and you always got your point across.
We will say our pryaers for 10 minutes and we will think of you each time.

You were a spiritual inspiration to me. I have spent my whoel life at St. Francis, receiving my Baptism, First Pennance, and First Communion from you. I served countless Masses with you. You were there with the Auxilliary Bishop for our Confirmations. You guided our parish to such growth and happiness, and have put our school on a path to be around for generations to come. Thanks you.
