Not sure what to say?

Dr Schooley will be remembered by all who were lucky enough to have him as a professor. Fifteen years have passed since I had him as a teacher, and the respect he inspired, his kindness, will never be forgotten.

We have wonderful, fond memories of Jim at FIT and UF. Trips to the Keys, softball games and working in the Science Lab. We cried at his passing but ended with smiles and giggles as we remembered all the fun times in Florida together. Kathy you are in our thoughts and prayers.

He was the most influential educator I had at NSU. Much of my scientific career I owe to him. His legacy continues through the numerous students and friends he has impacted.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Jim. He was always a gentleman and a wonderful sport. When I played softball with him, he always kept our team on a positive note. What a real sport he was. I know you will miss him more than words can tell.

Jim was the finest of men and greatest of educators. I knew him as a colleague at NSU and as a peer in water quality protection for the state of Oklahoma. "People will only protect what they love and will only love what they understand"... Jim wanted everyone to understand aquatic environments, their importance, and uniqueness. He had a very positive spirit, a big heart, and an inquisitive mind. His is a life to be celebrated!

Remembering Dr. Schooley a most respected and loved friend for many years at NSU. You are missed.

We miss you Uncle Jim!! I love you very much!!

We love you and will miss you always, Uncle Jim.

Jim was a great man, and a dedicated professor. NSU is now missing one of the finest. God bless the family.
