How can a heart rejoice and break simultaneously? Knowing Jim is home and safe with the Savior he loved is cause for celebration, but it hurts to say goodbye to such a loving, kind and gentle friend. We will miss Jim's ready smile, listening ear,and words of encouragement. I remember when I was a teenager being so thankful for Jim and Marti. Marti was my working budding at FCS every Friday night. Jim was so kind to bring me a yummy soda and make sure Marti and I were safe. God bless you all. Praying for you.

Jim was a great friend and mentor. His life exemplified the love of Christ toward others. He demonstrated genuine caring when others were hurting and made himself available to share his love and wisdom as needs presented themselves. Jim has been a wonderful friend for over 40 years. We met when we both were with Campus Crusade and stayed connected when we both went different ways yet both ending up here in Colorado Springs.
Jims gentle spirit and quick to help was an encouragement to me to do the same.
