James E. Sears, age 67, of Logan, Iowa, passed away February 10, 2010, at Immanuel Hospital, in Omaha, Neb.
Survivors include his significant other, Sylvia Melby, of Logan, Iowa; sons, Kevin and wife, Chris Sears, Shawn and wife, Jaina Swanger Sears; daughter-in-law, Connie Sears; stepchildren, Jeanyce and husband, Craig Hansen, Mark and wife, Judy Melby, and Brenda Hilbreth; 16 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren; brother, Robert Sears; and sisters, Dorothy and husband, Adrian Archer, Betty and husband, Richard Fellows, and Bonnie Brayton.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 15, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa, with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, February 16, at 10:30 a.m., at the Logan Memorial Chapel.
