Not sure what to say?

Still very much missed

I remember Shay as a young man living in Birmingham, Al. His Father, Barry, was my boss at a local bank there. Barry, Crockett, and family my thoughts and prayers are with you Ed Polston

Sellers family: I was privileged to work with Shay briefly at Wilkinson Kaolin in Gordon. GA during the early 1990's. I saw how much goodness and promise he possessed for such a young man. He was very funny and I will cherish the memories of the times we spent together as a work family. My heart is broken for his young family, but what a comfort it must be that he is now with his Heavenly Father,no longer in pain. Rest in peace, sweet prince!

Dear Crockett, Barry, and Sally words can not express my sorrow and feelings when my nephew Bard Bunting (Sister Liz's son -M59) called me to tell me that Shay had passed away. Brad had lived with Shay for a while at UGA. We are all shocked. I guess I met Shay at the C. Club when your children came by at one of the 1958 class reunions. Please accept my family's condolences and prayers. Ray and Kay Pinkerton Lanier 57.

It is so sad about Shay, but we know he has a lovely home with Jesus. Bobby and I met Shay at Ingleside Baptist Church. He was such a Friendly Person. To the Sellars Family, we Pray for God to Bless and Comfort each one of you.

My condolences to the family in this difficult time. The bible offers great hope in the near future "Death will be no more"

Dear Barry and Crockett,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your son. What an awesome man you raised and how proud you must be of him.
I smile as I recall you told me years ago that when Margaret and Shay were youngsters, Margaret called her brother 'Shay' because she couldn't pronounce 'Jay'.
I know your hearts are filled with wonderful memories of Shay and the joyful times you spent with him.

I have been wondering about Shay for the past several months. He touched more lives than his family will ever know through his emails about his "journey" with the Lord. I am so sorry to hear about his passing, but the Lord will truly bless you and make you strong in continuing his legacy. I met Shay several years ago and his greatest treasure that he always talked about was his wife and kids. How blessed you were to have him even if it was for a brief while, and have the comfort to know...
