So sad to hear of Jim's passing. I worked for him at Sennetech in 2007 for a few months after I graduated and he was such a great mentor to me during that time, as I'm sure he was to so many others throughout his life. My condolences to the family.

While working at Cruse Communications from May 1978 to August 1979, Jim was preparing for his instrument rating and I was getting ready to take my Private Pilot flight test. I remember going out to lunch with Bill Cruse and Ren Flag, and watching Jim doing crossword puzzles very quietly at the table. Once he learned I was about...

"Ceba, PR" hats given at Branson, 2011. (Ceba was a little town just off base). L-R: Bill Martin, Ennis Eaton, and Jim.
Jim was a great friend of everyone. Great shipmate. We served together for about 3 years, but it was a lifetime friendship. Wonderful memories.
