Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Jim"s passing and the loss to your family. I have very fond memories of our ski patrol days when all of us were cruising Solitude and later Park West. Jim taught me how to run toboggans when I was 17, a skill I will always have in my back pocket. A great man. Sorry I didn't hear about this until just recently or I would have come over for his memorial.
The best to your family,
Jim Petrie

We wish to express our condolences at the loss of your father. We have many fond memories of Jim on the Ski Patrol through the years. For our wedding he gave us a budget book and plan which we use to this day.

We are sorry not to be able to attend any of the functions for him, but we live in St. George now.

We have an old ski photo of Jim with most of the Ski Patrol that we would love to send you if you'll get us an email address.

Sorry for your loss,
Dick and...

While I only knew Jim for the past 15 years, I always found him to be a great guy who was polite and friendly. His long life was filled with interesting experiences and he was generous in sharing them. While I will miss his smile and amazing abilities on the links and alleys, I know that he was ready to move on to his next chapter. Cheers to Jim and everything he stood for.

I only knew Jim from the bowling lanes and he was a wonderful person to know and fun to be around. He will be missed by not only me but the other people who came in contact with him.
