Not sure what to say?

Jim and I played little league together, I would go to my aunts on South Bethlem and he and I would walk to the park together, if my recollection is correct he was also on our football team. He was a good man and it was a pleasure to see him at our 60th Class reunion. My deepest condolences to his family.

Half a century ago, I was just a young sports reporter, fresh out of college and unsure of myself in a new, small town. Tom Andrews gave me a chance, but Jim Shaffer, more than anyone else, made me feel welcome. His friendly smile, openness and encouragement stayed with me through my entire communications career. Rest in peace, Jim. You made the world a better place by being part of it, and we are forever grateful.

Jim and I go back to Little League thru his marriage to Sharon. Always full of fun and laughter.

Our love and prayers to the entire family. I fondly remember street basketball games with Jim, Dan, Mark, David and John. I was also luck enough to baby sit for the family. Jim was one of the Dog Hill good guys. Much love..Kevin Adams

He was in my classes at redbank. Always had a smile and a twinkle in his gorgeous eyes

The group of guys at the restaurant always enjoyed talking with Jim and listening to his stories. He will be missed by our group. Hugs and prayers to Sharon and the family.

My sympathy and prayers to Sharon and the family. Karen Minich Zent
