Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear about the passing of Jimmy. I had thought I would hear from him after my dad Irving Gaines passed away on March 5 ,2021 but I now understand. They are both together in a better place. Jimmy was a wonderful friend of my father. I wish your family all the best. He had a great life and was a super lawyer.

Jim was a special friend. He will be missed.

Dear Mrs. Rhea,,, I still remember the first time I met Judge Shapiro.. My mom Carol introduced me to Judge.. He took my hand and showed me his exquisite chambers along with the court room. I remember him letting me sit in his chair,, I had to be like 7 years old. His chair swallowed me up He was such a wonderful, respectful, honorable man... He will be missed... My our (Carol, Marlaina, Tiffany) condolences to you and your family.. May he Rest In Peace

Dear Rhea and Family, We were shocked and so saddened to hear this news. Jimmy was very dear to both of us, but much longer to Eli during their long years of partnership and friendship both professional and personal. We know his memory will be the blessing his life was, but this doesn't make the present easy. We wish you ultimate comfort in memories and will be in touch more directly.

I told Judge Shapiro's wife at an event that her husband was my favorite judge. I told her that I wanted her to know that as a judge he's considerate, fair, and attentive and there's no one like him. He was standing right next to her, smiling that infectious smile, and I was glad he heard what kind of impression he made on the attorneys that appeared before him. That was many years ago, but I still want to be like Jim Shapiro and I know I'm not alone.

So sad to hear of Jimmys passing Rhea. Offering my deepest sympathy.

Jim Shapiro was one of the last true gentlemen. He always had a big heart, ready smile, and compassion for the underdog. He'll be truly missed. My condolences to his family.
