I got to know Jim pretty well the 4 years previous to his passing. When I first met Jim he was with his best friend Ray. They were a couple of characters and always made me laugh. We had many a good conversation when we met and he was like an old friend that I'd known for years, real easy to talk to. If you knew him at all then you know what I mean. We met Jim about 14 years ago, he was walking around our neighborhood looking at a little log cabin on the lake of the ozarks. He asked me about the possibility of buy it. As it turned out I am a realtor and was able to put the deal together for him. He told me how he use to come there as a child with his parents and just wanted to keep his memories alive. My husband David and I will miss Jim. He would always wave me down on the road to talk about one thing or the other. He made so many...
