Not sure what to say?

Dear friendsof our parents and children of James Shearing,
Please also feel free to check out our tribute to our father at www.mem.com and sign the guest book at that website.

Although I have never met Mr. Shearing I would like to Thank him so very much for the serving our country and giving us the freedom to live in peace.

My sincere condolences; Helen, Eileen and every member of your family. I am so sorry for your lose. My heart goes out to each and everyone of you. All I can say is:"Have faith and God will get you through this". It will not be easy but in "due time" your hearts will heal; as you remember all the good times you had with your "Dad". Comfort one another, stay strong by "holding on" to God and each other...for "life does go on"...as you will realize....again "all in due time"...

All my...

To Mrs Shearing, my dearest sister-in-law Mary and brother Norman, as well as all your siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews, I offer my deepest sympathy on the passing of an extraordinary man, father and grandfather. May you take comfort in knowing you are not alone in your grief.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this hard time. I have many happy memories of 'hanging out' at the Shearing household, with Mr. Shearing teasing us girls, and calling us the '3 blind mice'. He was a special man.

Mr. and Mrs. Shearing welcomed me into their home and made me feel like one of the grandkids everytime I visited with Lis and Matt. I have fond memories of my times in their home, playing cards and wondering how so many people could live in such a cozy house. Mr. Shearing will forever by in my heart as my 3rd grandfather.

I remember Jimmy from the 1950's
He was a great Customs Officer and a good man to banter with.

Deepest expressions of sympathy to the entire Shearing family on the passing of James into God's presence.

I am reminded of this comforting poem:

"God looked around his garden And He found an empty place. And then He looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face. He put His arms around you, And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, He knew that you would never Get well on...
