Not sure what to say?

I met Jim when he was the pastor of a little church in Kendall Florida. It was my first visit to a Methodist Church in 20 years, and my children's first visit to a church. We arrived all dressed up and I recall being "disappointed" that the church didn't have pews and stain-glass windows! I was at a very pompous period in my corporate life. My wife signed us up to help paint a building and that was the beginning of my walk with Christ. Jim was a good friend who helped me during a difficult...

I was so sorry to read about Jim's passing.. I have lovely memories of him being such a good friend and pastor to my late husband and myself when we were members of St James. The smile he had for everyone was contagious and Linda was so blessed to have such a wonderful husband. I know my George will be looking out for him in heaven and I cannot wait to hear him preach again one day.

So sorry to learn of Jim's death. I always enjoyed our conversations at annual conference and in other settings during our years together in the FL Conference. Thoughts and prayers for Linda and the rest of the family. Rev. Ivan Corbin

Jim holds a special place in our hearts. We came back to attending church after hearing a Thanksgiving sermon he gave in 1997. Jim later married us and baptized one of our granddaughter's. You will be missed, dear Jim.

Jim was one of the nicest, and most giving person I have ever known. He has been a great father figure to me for close to 20 yrs. He was truly a unique person with a unique sense of humor, which I will miss very much. Jim was some one you could count on for anything. I will always treasure the memories and hold you close to my heart. I will miss you very much. I'm sure we will meet again. Until then I will take care of your son and your granddaughter.. ❤❤❤

While our hearts are broken, we know Dad is rejoicing in heaven. We love and miss that smile. Michelle (Sheffer) and Frank McIntosh

Our loss but heavens gain.

Will always cherish the times we as a family gathered at the old home place in Morganfield. Jim was a very kind and gentle soul. He will be missed

Jim held a special place in our family with his soft smile, gentle soul, and words and reflections of wisdom. We had hoped to have many many more years with him. I'm sure the gates of heaven were thrown wide open and the choir was rejoicing on his arrival, but my brother-in-law will be sadly missed here and will forever have a place in my heart. RIP Jim.

I'm Sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I remember what a great friend he was while we were growing up. It was so good to see him at our high school reunion. God has another angel in Heaven.
