Jimmy Shepherd was my mentor, inspiration and friend! I would often drop by his office, unannounced, for a therapy session. His wisdom and judgement helped me avoid making several bad mistakes. His friendship meant a lot to me during some very difficult times. Although I did not maintain a close relationship with him after I retired and moved away, he still lives in my mind with some of the best memories of my life.
