Cpl Sherill was my senion NCO in Okinawa in the USMC. An amazing man which sat in my barracks room listening to pink Floyd and talking about racism and traveled threw the real meaning of life. As a white kid from pa I don't think to this day I have been able to talk to like we talked. It was a rough time in my life in 2000 and if it wasn't for a awesome human being helping me threw I'm not sure I would have made it. He was my best friend and a life lesson that means so much more to me now...

In remembrance of a great man and a great friend. He was always like a big brother. RIP my friend.

Its hard to believe its been 10 years since your homegoing. You are still thought of and missed. Sherrill family: you are in my thoughts and prayers.
