James Harrell Shewmake

Just found out today (8/29/2023) about this death. Since I am the granddaughter of Ervin Shewmake, James was my great-uncle. He was only 12 years older than me so I was always fascinated that he was 10 years younger than his nephew, my dad, Edward Shewmake. Uncle James gave his full support to us when my mother, then my dad, and then my sister-in-law passed away. I remember the last time I saw him about 5 years ago. We were discussing the history around his birthplace. He was in good spirits and very personable. He will be missed.

So sorry for your loss. I miss James. I saw him every Sunday morning at church handing out bulletins with a smile on his face. He is missed.
