Not sure what to say?

Dear Naomi and Family: We are so saddened to hear of Jim's death. It really caught us by surprise. My earliest recollection of Jim was when I was a student Pastor at Neola UMC and met my "neighbors" Jim & Naomi. Our daughter Tina and son Eric went to school with your sons. We were a part of an adventure of creating Faith Christian School and spent many hours praying and planning. Then in later years I brought youth groups to Twin Pines for wonderful times. Thank you Jim (and Naomi) for...

Jim was an incredible man of God. His faith and love of God was so evident in everything he did. He was generous, encouraging, patient, and loved children of all ages and sizes. Words like: "JOY"--Jesus Overwhelming You and phrases like "it's delightful" still ring in my ears. Thanks Jim...for encouraging me and so many others throughout your time here on earth. I wish I could remember all those things you shared at those late night star studies at camp. So many good camp memories!

Twin Pines, and especially, Jim Shields has been a part of my life, as well as my daughter and sons for the past seven years. It doesn't take long to see the caring man that Jim is.

Our condolences to Naomi, the Shields and the Twin Pines family.

You are all in our prayers

John Cannon and family - Philadelphia

We were so sad to hear of Jim's passing. But we know he is with the Lord he loved and served. Our condolences to Naomi and the family, as well as his Twin Pines fmaily, of whom we were a part. Sincerely, Carolyn Grimm Morrow - Seibert E.C. Retreat attendee, and for Joanne Grimm - summer camp nurse and Doris Moyer - summer kitchen help also of Seibert E.C. Allentown.

Jim was Twin Pines. I always enjoyed my 14 years serving a pastor at Junior Camp. Many fond memories of Jim (his antics and love at camp)will always remind me of him and Twin Pines. My prayers for you Naomi for your dedication to Jim and Twin Pines.
