Not sure what to say?

I just discovered Jamie´s obit and am deeply sorry for the family´s loss. I knew Jamie, Billy and Tommy from Banks High School and 76th Street Presbyterian Church. My mother, Marguerite Ogle was friends with Mary, his mother. Love to the family.

Jamie modeled Christian Hedonism for me a decade before John Piper put it in writing. The brother loved any and everybody he met. He taught me to enjoy watching the opponent win at table games. Who does that! Can't wait to laugh with him once more on the new earth. Meanwhile, I join all who miss him.

I'm sorry to hear the news of Jamie's passing. We worked together for a few years with InterVarsity and I greatly appreciated his boldness. Whether he was talking to someone about Jesus, asking for a donation to expand the ministry, or changing lanes in traffic - Jamie evidenced a confidence I admired. I'm grateful to have known him.

I am so sorry to hear about Jamie. I met him at Ga. Tech my very first night at Tech in the Techwood Dorm. Big smile and very friendly - and never changed over the next four years. It appears that he didn't change over the succeeding years, continuing to make a positive impact on everyone's life that had the good fortune to meet him. I am happy and lucky to have been of those.

I knew him from ga tech and also at work projects. He was a super decent person great attitude always with a big smile. Rip

What an inspiration to all who knew Jamie. I was fortunate to have been in a Sunday School class he taught at CPC and was encouraged by his love for The Lord! And his continuous fight with Parkinson´s was not only courageous, but a wonderful example of faith for so many of us. God has certainly blessed all of us with his life. And he will truly be missed. Jamie was a fine Christian man, dedicated first to his Lord, then to his family and friends. I will always remember in Sunday School at 76th Street Presbyterian, his favorite hymn was 'We're Marching to Zion.' Indeed I think Jamie was marching to Zion his whole life. He leaves many wonderful memories. My sincere condolences to Catherine and all of his family.

So sorry for the loss of a family member.

Jamie was a true and kind human being. I remember him as soft-spoken and as sweet as they come. This breaks my heart.
