Not sure what to say?

Dr. Shiffner was a kind and lovely man in a world with too few of them. I'll miss him.

I was deeply shocked and saddened when I learned of Dr. Shiffner's sudden and untimely passing. We had had a very meaningful and productive association for many years, but what I feel most is a sadness at not having been able to say good-bye. He learned a lot from him that helps me to cope better. But even more, he encouraged my creativity. He was a wonderful, caring man. I'll remember him always, along with the mass of totems with which he decorated his office, especially the "Jackson...

Jamie was a superstar as a psychologist and a gentleman. I miss him terribly, and will be hard-pressed to find anybody on this planet like him. Kind, funny, smart, incisive, I don't think Jamie had anything but good in his heart for his patients and all who knew him. We occasionally talked about God's love, and I am grateful that this love helped me find Jamie when I needed him most. We'll meet again.

Words escape me. However the tears and pain are a constant presence.

Jamie Shiffner was a deeply thoughtful and caring person. He and his family are in my thoughts daily. My deepest condolences to his family.

There is no question that my life is so much better for having known and learned from this amazing man. His insight, intelligence and humor certainly made me a better person. My heart goes out to his family and they should know what a wonderful inspiring person he was to those in need. I will always remember this - "small things with persistence". The world was a better place because Jaimie Shiffner was in it.

Thanks so much for your kindness, gentleness and loving way. We will miss you so much. George and Diane

Jamie you and your family are in my heart and prayers. Thank you so much for your gentle ways of caring and your great help in my life. I was so fortunate to have known you. I will miss you and will think of you often and use your wisdom. God bless

Jamie..I will miss you always. One of my fondest memories of you is of you lying on my floor with a litter of puppies licking and biting at your face, and you loving every minute of it!

Both you and Cathy were such wonderful friends to me when I most needed it. A kinder, gentler man, I will never know.

Cathy, and Hanah, please know that you are both in my prayers.

Someday, we will tell stories, share memories and laugh....but not yet my friend. First, we will bury you...
