Not sure what to say?

"No one is ever dead while somone remembers them". I remember Carlton.
I was impressed by an article once where a group of shooters determined what loads shot well in all their pistols. The article was impressive but that someone could lead a group of people to contribute their time and efforts to an experiment made me take notice. Thank you for the distant contact Carlton.

I never met Carlton but did corresponded frequently with him. In doing so, his writing and commentary made me feel like I did know him. I still refer to the book he wrote on shooting concerning cast bullets and silhouettes. His insight and wisdom will be missed. My sincerest condolences to Carlton's family.

My condolences to the Shy family on Carlton's passing.
I had the pleasure and priviledge of getting to know Carlton through my participation in IHMSA activities. Carlton was a wonderful man, who was always willing to share information with younger fellows like me. I am saddened to hear of his passing, and will be keeping him and the family in my prayers.
Blessings in Christ,

I wish for the family to know how much ''Uncle Carlton'' meant to our shooting family in IHMSA. We enjoyed his company and his wisdom. I wish to thank him for extending our knowledge by publishing his work (and others') Cast Bullets and Silhouettes. Carlton also authored the ''Cast Bullets'' column in The Silhouette newspaper. He will be missed. Richard.

Carlton, It was a pleasure to know you and to have had the opportunity to shoot with you when Silouttes were young in Georgia. You were a special person to be around and a mentor to many. You will be missed and remembered.

My deepest sympathy to the Shy Family, I did not have the actual pleasure of meeting Carlton, but in the circles of Georgia and Region 2 Silhouette Shooting, he is a legend. I wanted to take this opportunity to pay my respects to the family.

God Bless You All

Robert L. Walker
Region 2 Director, IHMSA
