Dear Cindy, I was totally shocked when I learned of Jim's passing. There hasn't been a day go by that I haven't thought of him. He was my oldest and dearest Army buddy, and I always admired and respected him, listened to his thoughts and ideas and even argued good naturedly when I didn't agree. We didn't talk often in our later years, but when we did it was like we never missed a day. I am so sorry I didn't make his viewing and service, but I will always remember his hearty laugh, good...

Dear Cindy, we are sooo sorry about Jim's passing. Nov. 1998 was when we met you both the first time; we came to visit Kay and Charlie to celebrate Stan's 50th birthday. What a great time we had then and always with the two of you. We smile when we remember Jim. Know that we are thinking of you and your family Cindy.

I worked with Jim when I was an agent in Greeneville, Tn. Jim came down from Bristol to do and undercover job for me. He was an outstanding agent and an even better friend. He called me last year and we had a great conversation about old times and friends.

Cindy, Elaine and I cannot begin to express to you and your family our sympathy and condolences for the loss of Jim, a dear friend to us for many years and to all who met or knew him.
