Not sure what to say?

I only knew Jim at SE Auto, but I knew him as a friendly, sweet guy. When I found out about his death today after visiting the gas station, I was in shock. And looking here I found that 71 people sent messages to you about your loss. That speaks volumes about his character. So many people loved him. I am so sorry. I will miss seeing him.

Simmers,
I'm very sorry for your great loss. He truely was a great guy that loved to help people out! For the few years that I got to know and hang out with Jim he really was like a big brother. I will always think of him when I drive the car that he helped me to build. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mike, Jan & family,
There are no words to express our profound sympathy for you in the loss of your precious Jim. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mike, I'm so sorry for your loss. It is devastating. Please know that you're in our prayers. God bless you and your family.

There is not a moment that has gone by that I have not thought about my brother Jim. I miss him so much and never imagined the pain of losing a brother. He will also be my big brother and I will miss him so much. Your niece Makayla and nephew Zakary will also be so proud to say you were their uncle. I am very thankful for the time I was able to have with you.. I LOVE YOU JIM!!!!!
Your little sister,
Shelly

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have many great memories of my high school buddy. Discussing the North Stars and their farm system, Jim was always letting me know who the next tough guy was going to be. One particular time at a concert Jim was there for me and a few of our friends. He didn't look for trouble, but that night trouble found us and I was sure glad that Jim was there to stick up for us. I played with and against Jim in Hockey and regardless of the outcome he was...

Dear Simmer Family,

Count me as another member of Jim's Holy Spirit family with fond memories of a very gifted athlete and a kind heart. I am deeply sorry to hear of his passing.

We were overwhelmed by the numbers who showed up at our son's memorial service. It was so nice to see some familiar faces and we appreciated all the nice things and remembrances of his impact and associations with so many people. As we all get back to our daily routines, our only request is that when you think of Jim--perhaps you might say a little prayer for him. THANKS TO YOU ALL--Jan and Mike Simmer

Last night we said goodbye to our dearest friend Jim. It became clear where Jim got his heart because his family comforted us more than we could comfort them. Let me take this opportunity to thank them, and finally get out the words "I'm so sorry for your loss".

It's no accident that for over 20 years many of my best hours, days, and weekends were with Jim. Even as life changed over the past two decades, our friendship never did. Instead of growing apart after I married Kara, he...
