On August 31, 2020, James Simone surrounded by family peacefully transitioned from this earthly life. Family and friends will unite on Friday, September 4, 2020, from 3:00pm until time of private service 4:00pm at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 38576 Brett Way, Mechanicsville, MD.
RIP Jim. Great guy - had the pleasure to coach soccer with him in the 1990's-2000's. Great memories. Condolences to the family.

Jimmy will be missed immensely. He always treated us like extended family when we come over for the girls birthday parties. I enjoyed the casual talk and jabbing back and forth about our hockey teams. Rest easy good sir.

You could never be in a bad mood around Jimmy because he was such an uplifting spirit that his aura for bid anything but happiness. I don't recall ever meeting him when he didn't have a big smile on his face and genuinely be glad to see you. The world will just be a little sadder without his presence but I am happy that I had the opportunity to know him.
