Read MoreI met Dr. Skarda in Iowa City in Sept. 1970; he was the one who delivered my daughter. And took the time to come into my room to see how I was doing. I find it kind of ironic that I now live in Britt. May he rest in peace!

I did not know Dr. Skarda but after I saw his photo and read his obituary, I felt a great sadness at his loss. I know this is a very painful time for those of you who loved him and I ofFer you my sincere condolences.
