Jim will always be remembered by us for his work with the Boy Socuts. He was a good man and a terrific model for the young scouts in his troop.
He was our neighbor for 28 years and will be missed dearly.
We are deeply sorry that we did not know until today.

My deepest condolences to the Skelton family. Jim was a defining figure in my life and I will carry his memory with me for all of my days. All of the Boy Scout trips, nights staying at the Skelton home along with the fun, direction and wisdom he brought to me will never be forgotten.
