Not sure what to say?

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have known Jim...such a genuine, caring soul. May his legacy live on and inspire others. Sincerely, Tom and Vicke (Weires) Horvath (1978 JCU classmates/alumni)

My deepest sympathy to the Skerl family . When my son attended St. Ignatius , I had the chance to talk with Jim and discovered why my son and so , so many students thought Jim was their favorite teacher. God bless the Skerl family. Jim lives on !!

jim was topic of our priest sermon at our church in Sun city , Arizona what a wonderful man .

To the Skerl Family,
Jim was my " big brother" at work. He knew when to play the joke and when to give the hug.
Thanks Jim! I have many great memories.
God bless you all.

The world lost a hero but heaven gained an angel. You were truly a "Man for Others" and have taught thousands of young men to live their lives as a "Man for Others". You were one of my son's favorite teachers (Joshua Jarosz '15). Your work and how you touched the lives of many, many Clevelanders will never be forgotten. Your ministries that you created through St. Ignatius will continue to grow to help all others. You will be truly missed. RIP Mr. Skerl.....

so sorry for your loss.
