Not sure what to say?

Our times working together at W.C.S.D. were truly memorable; Skid was a true professional in manner and deed.

To those Jim leaves behind; may you be consoled that he is in a better place.

Dave Miley, Dexter,MI

I worked with Jim at WCSD and he would always be willing to help and swoop down on crime. We had fun working togeather. What a great WCSD family! My prayers go out to jims family! Mike Bailey

The thing I remember most about Skid isn't from the police academy or the SWAT team, its all the lives that he saved. Jim was the first uber traffic cop, arresting 1, 2 and 3 drunk drivers every night. We don't know who the people are that he saved, but with all the drunks he took off the street, he saved plenty. And he helped spread that type of policing to Ron and Stan, and they arrested hundreds every year. Godspeed Jim.

I had the pleasure of working with Jim at WCSD. Jim was a dedicated officer who took things in stride. I remember his great sense of humor. My condolences to his family.

We struggle to find the right words when we lose our old friends, especially those we shared so many memories with. Jim was one of my old police academy buddies whom I will never forget from WCSD. Back in the day, we hung together, and fought the good fight together in good times and in bad. Our kids played together while we spent hours working on our first houses together, and we remember Barb and the kids well. Wherever you went Jim after we all retired, you and our WCSD family have never...

I had the wonderful experience of being a member of the WCSD family and co-worker of Jim. He made my first week there very memorable (remember Skid and Bobby's "bust", Dawnine?) and was so much fun to be around. He was very good with people, a great deputy, and someone I will always be very proud to say I knew and worked with.
My sincerest condolences to his family and until we meet again, Skid.......

Jim truly was one of the best. He was always there when you needed him. I will always remember his unique sense of humor. I am glad I was able to call him my friend and co-worker. My condolences to the family.

I had the honor of working with Jim at WCSD and he was a dedicated and loyal officer. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Rest in peace my friend.

Jim was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor and a huge heart. He will be deeply missed. Rest in peace my friend.
