Jim was good friends with my father Jim "Tiny" Anderson and I have wonderful memories of Jim/"Mr. Slagle" (as I had to call him publicly when attending Lance Jr High) while attending races throughout my childhood. He was someone I have always looked up to and admired. My heart goes out to the Slagle family at this time and send warm thoughts and good energy from Sydney Australia.
