Dear Mary,.. And all who know and Love Jim, "J.C."... J.C. as he preferred to be called back in the 70's is my Cousin. We met for the First time in 1978 when he was 16 and I was 18. We were instant Friends, practically like Brothers... Over the next couple of years we Partied together, worked together, roomed together, were in Business together, and Most Importantly' we Found and Grew in FAITH together!.. It was during this time that we both turned our Hearts Totally over to God's Love and...

Dear Mary,
I was so saddened to hear about Jim's passing. I worked with Jim at First Indepent Bank year's ago, and found him to be such a joy. My sincerest sympathies are with you.

Jim...May you read my words from the Heavens above! Words are not enough to tell you how much you will be missed! I will always keep you close to my heart and will always remember the day you said "I do" to your lovely wife and my dear friend, Mary. I will always hold on to those wonderful memories you left behind!

Love you and Mary forever!

Wow... I for one as I am sure many who received this tragic News this week am really shocked! I am known as one of the more creative Real Estate Practitioners over the last 35 plus years...And as I am working on expanding our current Venture Adamas Realty I met and admired the creativeness and positive attitude of Jim Slaight! We worked on a few cool Transactions last year and in the process was able to recruit him to Adamas.... We both hit it big in our careers... me as a Broker and him...

Mary, you and Jim's family and friends are in my prayers. I worked with Jim at First Independent years ago. He was such a nice guy and made the work days fun. Although I hadn't seen him since then, he will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear about Jim's passing. I thoroughly enjoyed our working together and he will be missed by many.
