I only met Jimmy a little more than a year ago or so when he started visiting my church. Every Sunday evening service, and later at Bible studies and visits at the Eliot Health Care (EHC), he would always greet me with a bright smile and extend his hand for a gentle handshake. Just very recently, a couple of times we sat and had coffee and talked while sitting in the lobby of EHC - those times I now treasure in my heart. I am so sad that he is gone...I will miss him very much. Jimmy...

I was saddened to hear of Jimmys passing. I knew him to be a nice man, my condolences go out to the Slamin family.
