Not sure what to say?

Janice - We're sorry we didn't get the pleasure of meeting Jim...our loss, and we're sad for your loss. I, too, have lost a husband and know the pain and emptiness it brings. Trust God for strength and comfort and please know that we are here for you anytime.

Mr. Slaughter ("Papa Slick") we will miss you greatly. You had such a way of making each of us feel so special and I so much appreciated you helping me celebrate my birthday. Our love and prayers go out to Mrs. Slaughter, Karen, Rich, Christoper, Susan, (little) Jay, Jay , Bethanne, Caroline and James. Please turn to your family and friends for comfort at this time as we love all of you very much.

Jim will be missed by all of us who knew him.

I will truly miss Mr. Slaughter, it was an honor to be his secretary for nine years. He was a kind and generous gentleman.

Slick was my partner, but more importantly, my friend. The stories from our great adventure in Jefferson never grow old--at least I don't get tired of telling them.

Karen, we are so sorry to hear about your dad. Our prayers are with you and your whole family. The Bishops-Brad, Nikki, Robby and Katie

I will always think of Slick as he welcomed me to the law firm -- gentle, kind, wry wit and the ever-present pocket pouf! I am saddened by his early passing and offer my sympathy to his family and many friends.

So very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I will always remember his wonderful smile and heart of gold. My prayers are with all of you.
