Not sure what to say?

Wow. Mom was right. The older we get, the faster the years go. Hard to believe it's been 14 years since Uncle Jim passed. You kids were indeed blessed to have been born to Uncle Jim and Aunt Helen, two people who were definitely in a class of their own. A perfect example of the love and selfless nature of both of your parents is the time they volunteered to care for Mom and Dad's six kids (in addition to their own eight) back in the 50s when my parents took a rare but well-deserved...

Uncle Jim and Aunt Helen were two of the nicest people I have ever met. They loved each other and the great kids they raised. Hope you all are doing well.

Mark and sibs, you were indeed fortunate to be blessed with parents like Uncle Jim and Aunt Helen. Jeana and I often thank God that we were also blessed with great parents. We all have reason to be thankful.

Dear Susan, Cedric, Calvin, Lilllian and the rest of the Slocum family,
I am so sorry for your loss.
I never met your father(grandfather) but heard how he cared for his wife throughout the years and I was very impressed and touched. May his memory be eternal.

To the Slocum family,
I'm very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To all of the Slocum Family,
We remember fondly our days as kids living across the street from Mr. and Mrs. Slocum and their wonderful family (including Lady, the dog) in Binghamton, NY. I'm so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I have so many fond memories of the entire Slocum clan. Although it's been many years since we've seen everyone, our thoughts and prayers are crossing the years and miles between us and are with you all during this time.

Dear Ellyn and Family,
Please know we are thinking of you during this difficult time. Your father was an amazing man who led a life to be celebrated. He will be greatly missed but many wonderful memories will remain.

Our sympathies, Boyd, Lisa, and Girls
