Not sure what to say?

Uncle Jim was truly a kind sweet gentle man with a quick smile and I will always remember his laugh.

Even though he was far away in NJ he kept the family close by visiting so often in the early years. I remember him bringing all of the cousins to see the Swan Boats in Boston and the many visits to the camp.

He was remarkable at age 91 when he made several trips to Quincy and Braintree to visit his sisters. At my mothers funeral he stood up in Church and said he loved his sister....

Dad lived a long productive life, lived independently to the end, and passed without pain-not bad. I don't think he ever had enemy, and most people were charmed by his gentleness.

Some of the things he passed on to me were an appreciation for adventure and everything outdoors, a love of gardening, and he taught me how to grill the perfect hamburger.

Hi Grandpa, I love you. You were always sweet to me and I loved your laugh. You always remembered my birthday which made me feel special.

Uncle Jim, A wonderful man, a great older brother to all of his sisters and a great son to his parents. He will be sadly missed by his nephew Paul.

"Oh what a beautiful morning" it was when Jim Smith entered the gates of Heaven. We all loved him. I was suprized when Terry, Linda and Greg shared fond memories of him. We'll miss you Jim.

Dad, you lived such a good life. Everyone loved you. You were so kind and thoughful. You sent a sign to me last week when I went to see Oklahoma! I remember your singing "Oh What a Beautiful Morning" every day after shaving. Such a happy man. Now I know you are happy in a new place. We will miss you.

So kind and so smart, an amazing patriarch. I remember how Sky and I loved when Pop-pop would take us across the street to play at the park. And will always smile thinking about his giant Christmas present boxes to Grandma, and how he would giggle to himself watching her open the funny things inside. And how just recently he'd make Simon smile calling his wheelchair a carriage. Thank you Pop-pop!

You were a great man and the very best father ever. Thanks, Pa, and Happy Birthday!
