Not sure what to say?

To Jimmy and his Family: My deepest regrets to all of you. I loved Jimmy like a brother. We worked together for many years in Solon and spent many days and nights together. I will miss his sense of humor and love of life. Both Jimmy and your family are in my prayers. God Bless you all, I will miss Jimmy.

I WILL MISS YOU ALWAYS,JUST ONE OF THE MANY FREINDS YOUV'E TOUCHED ALONG THE WAY.

I met Jimmy about six years ago. Things were good for him them as so they appeared. Always smiling and happy about the current situation. Words of encouragement with the laugh. We will miss you Jimmy.

My sincere sympathy goes out to the Smullen family. I was fortunate enough to have spoken to Jimmy every month and it was always such a pleasure to spend a few moments on the phone with him. Jimmy has been in my prayers for a long time and I know he is in a better place now. I will continue to pray for his family in their time of grief. God Bless, Lad Z.

Dear Mike, Shauna and the entire Smullen family,

I was so saddened to hear of Jimmy's passing. He is a special man that will be remembered by many. May he be on the 50 yard line of EVERY Notre Dame game in heaven! May peace be with all of you in this difficult time. Our prayers are with Jimmy and his wonderful family at this difficult time.
With Love,
Ann Lanese

Jimmy is my cousin and I have fond memories of him and Marylyn. My brother and I used to go spend a few weeks with them. I want everyone to know that as family grows and begin there new lives try to make time for those who were there first (family). I have such regrets that I didn't make time to visit. I talked to Jim a few years ago and he was so happy to hear from me. Jim you will be missed. Love Mary

To the family of Jimmy Smullen:
We only had the privilage of meeting Jimmy only once, and that one and only meeting was one that we will always remember. What a sweet and thoughtful man he was. I know that he loved his kids, grandkids dearly. I have met his sons (Michael is married to my sister), and he and Marilyn did a fine job of raising such polite and great kids.
Jimmy will be greatly missed. May God Richly Bless his family with much strength, I am also very confidant that...

Over the years, Jimmy seemed to become more and more of a friend of mine, rather than the father of my college roommate, Mike Smullen. I'll always remember Jimmy with a smile on his face and a kind word, not to mention the constant burning desire to talk about Notre Dame football! I think what means the most to me is that he is one of the two people (along with Marilyn Smullen) responsible for giving me one of the greatest gifts anybody can receive..that of friendship..the one I share with...

Jimmy, you are so loved. I will miss my kisses and the way you made every girl feel like she was the "only one". Enjoy chairing the "Big Meeting"!! Love you, Carol
