Jim - 1999
The photo attached to this message is of Jim in 1999 at Corkscrew Swamp Wildlife Refuge in Florida. This is how I hope remember him. He was happy and healthy. Over the years since, Jim's health had deteriorated; it was heart wrenching to see him in such pain more recently. Yet he never complained. He was always stoic. May you rest in peace, brother.

Many great memories as a child I've been reflecting on, so sad to hear of this. I know my mom was waiting for him with open arms to welcome him Home. To my cousin Jeanne, I know this has to be completely heartbreaking for you as I not too long ago lost my mom, I thought I would never recover from the pain, but I assure you we do for the most part recover. May our lord above be with you and help you through the sadness and sorrow that comes with losing a parent. You are in my prayers.
