I'm truly sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was my art teacher at Pleasant Hill High School, Pleasant Hill, CA. over 50 years ago. He was so full of energy in the class room, and made a point of connecting with everyone of his students. He played a significant role in my life inspiring me to continue with my art studies, which eventually led me to a lifetime career in the arts. I'll always remember him with great fondness.

Jim was my art teacher at Pleasant Hill High School over 40 years ago. In my Junior he was the one who saw to it that we had a proper facility to study and do our own art work. He was gentle and kind. He took time to show me how to do several projects I had been working on. I will always remember him. I had wondered what had happened to him and now I know. Sorry to hear of Jims passing. He was a great teacher and always so positive with his students. I was in his photography class and was one of my favorite teachers in the 60's thru 1965 when I graduated from Pleasant Hill High School.
