I am so sorry. I am glad I got to talk to you that last time, to know that things had become smoothed between us. I had missed you all so much. You two had told me you could be my "stand in father" when mine remarried and moved to Fl, I have greately appreciated that, and cherish that for the rest of my life. Marian was like a Mother, and friend. I remember watching you play ball at the park, and that time my fly got stuck up and busted, and Marian and I could not get it...

My heart and prayers are with you and your families at this time. So many wonderful memories of Jim -- skiing at Jay Peak in Vermont, dining at The Buck and Doe and, above all else, Jim's laugh!!!
