Not sure what to say?

I had the honor and pleasure of knowing Pat by way of hunting birds with him in West Texas. Pat was a fine man, always one to listen, laugh, and make you feel comfortable. Pat was a good hunter, always kind to his faithful dog, and a man that talked of his family often with love and admiration.

My prayers are for his family.

Patrick could always make me laugh. I was saddened to hear of his passing. His family is in my prayers.

I ran into Pat & Logan Wray at the HP opener at Ownby several weeks ago. I don't believe I had seen him since high school.
I'm sorry for your loss.

Mr. Sone was like an uncle to me, and one of my dad's best friends. I'll always have fond memories of hunting with him and Brian, sharing our various hunting stories, and just relaxing. He treated me like I was one of his own, and I loved being around him, and loved him. He was a great person, caring, good hearted, and I'll never forget him.

Pat was my brother's best friend, and my friend too. Pat never treated me like the annoying little sister of his friend. When I was in middle school he would let me drive his car, as long as I stayed in the driveway. One time a neighbor called to say that I was driving the car up and down the driveway very fast. Pat just said, "don't hit anything." I will miss so many of his amazing traits but most of all how he could always point out someones best qualities and was quick to share them...

I am saddened by the news of Pat's passing. I have good memories with Pat at UT and enjoyed seeing him at the recent HP reunion. I take comfort in knowing he is in a better place now.

I feel like I've lost a brother. Life and distance separated us over the years, but each time I talked to Pat was like the first time. Pat was a wonderful friend, and he will be greatly missed. My heartfelt condolences for your loss.

Pat and I went to HP and UT (where he nicknamed me "Crank" for my loud long laugh).
I was a groomsman in his wedding and sang "Mack the Knife" and "Satin Doll" with a jazz trio at the reception high atop the old Sheraton downtown. I also caught the garter, which has been on the thigh of my mannequin "Misty" ever since.
We also worked together around 1988 when I first moved back to Texas in the property tax appraisal appeal business.
Last time I saw him was three years ago at...
