Not sure what to say?

You will forever be in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. May you rest in peace with the Lord.

Our sympathies to Enid and Kenneth, Marie and Ronnie. I knew the Songy family when they lived in Edgard. Remember Enid and James very well. Then when Ed and I moved to Lockport, we renewed our friendship with Msgr. Songy and enjoyed his friendship and leadership as our pastor. May he rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Our sincere sympathy to Enid and Kenneth. Sorry we are unable to attend the funeral. Love, Carlyn and Louis

Dear Family,

May God help you to offer this suffering for the love of Jesus. You, and all of your loved ones are in our prayers.

Love and prayers,

Fr. Songy,
You were always more of a father than a monsignor...to your credit. I remember you from the wonderful, happy days at St. Rita in New Orleans before the school burned down! Those Saturday morning coffees were priceless! Your Masses on All Saints' Day were packed...we all loved to hear you sing the Scripture readings!
In recent years I only got to see you at funerals, but it was so good just to see you! Thank you for all the joy you brought to the people of St. Rita and...

Fr. Songy,
I remember the years you were in Lockport at Holy Savior. You would listen to me and then gently tell me that my idea wouldn't work. You made me try harder as a student, as a Catholic, as a member of Holy Savior.
Thank you for your patience, your leadership, your guidance to those of us in Catholic school.
Rest in peace dear sir.

May you rest in peace.

May The Lord welcome you with open arms. I remember working for you at Holy Savior Rectory along with my Mom. How you would play on my living room floor with my 2 boys. Rest in peace. You will always be remember.
